G E N G H I S - David Edward Khan

                             My ambitions in life...

My Ambitions

I am one of those people that constantly needs to set new and challenging goals for myself. As soon as I achieve one, I set up another. I believe that to remain strong mentally and physically, it's important to push yourself and to not rest for too long.

I strive to be a leader in any professional endeavor I undertake. To be successful, its takes time, talent and tenacity. Leonardo da Vinci explained my philosophy for staying busy best with his quote:

"Iron rusts from disuse; water loses its purity from stagnation... even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind."

So a good leader must always strive to better themselves or else they become stagnant, like Leonardo implied.

Please take a look at some current and past completed goals listed below.

Masters of Business Administration diploma My most recent success is the completion of my Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University. While this will most likely be the last formal degree I will earn, I will always continue to learn, attend classes and explore new ideas to keep my mind sharp and in tune with the modern world.
Snow boarding in Breckenridge, CO I learned a couple years to snow board. After two days, my friends said I looked like I had been doing it for years. It's definitely a good time, and one heck of a workout! You're never too old to try something new.
Piper Warrior III landing at dusk A definite passion of mine is to fly. With the ability to control an aircraft comes great responsibility and if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it.
I hope to become instrument rated this year.
Navy Officer Crest A goal of mine is to be selected for a direct commission in the United States Navy Reserve. The crest at the left is what an officer wears on their combination cover (hat).
